In Absentia – Day Three

Four Blogs in one day, and I’m having to “dig deep” for the fourth to ensure I keep to my New Year’s resolution of a Blog a Day for 2011.  I’m going to put a lot of effort into finalising my new website whilst I’m away, seeing as I’ll have a few nights free from blogging!  As mentioned, the words themselves won’t take too much to complete – I will have to spend a while sorting through my photos to sort the wheat from the chaff (or the chaff from the worse chaff).  I will be adding a section that will allow you to purchase some of my photos – initially just prints but hopefully I’ll then be able to offer other products, I might even get round to adding videos on there, as I’ve been threatening to do for many months.I have another possible photo opportunity each week, as my son has signed up to play Rugby (now, that’s a real game – not like football) and I should be able to apply the photographic skills I’ve learnt from his football team to photograph the squad as they play.  It’s probably a bit presumptive to suggest another hi-key team photo of the team before he’s even started!
The weather forecast has just been on the TV and it looks like tomorrow’s weather will be pretty good, with some early morning showers after which it should then be fair.  There will be more rain on Wednesday and even more on Thursday.  I’m not too concerned but I really want the weather to be good for two other zoo trips I have planned, and it looks like I might be in luck.  All I need now is for a flock of Waxwings to decide to fly straight to our garden and live here whilst the weather is unseasonably warm (well, you got to have a dream, if you don’t have a dream, How you gonna have a dream come true? Very Sensible* I know!)

*  That’s Captain Sensible to you!
