Juvenile Robin, originally uploaded by andyskelton-a Blog a day http://andrewskelton.net.
Yes, I know that’s what you were thinking but surely, after 211 days of continual blogging (I’m not including any I wrote at the tail end of last year) you don’t think you’ll get rid of me that easily? (AND don’t call me Shirley (aah the old ones are the good one)).
After having been sitting in front of two computers, with 4 screens, and enough led/lcd/ncp/bbc to illuminate Blackpool tower, the last thing I wanted to do with my evening was spend it in front of a computer. After a brief rest I’m back, refreshed and raring to go.
Today’s image is of the juvenile robin I mentioned several days back – and an image I’m very pleased with (for once). I love how the inquisitiveness of the Robin comes through in the series of photos I uploaded to Flickr and a certain cocksure attitude as if even though he (or she’s) is not yet full grown he knows he’ll rule the roost if he doesn’t already.
I’ve not touched the camera today but have managed to finish the Football Team photos and they look great. One set of photos is to be printed on A3 paper, but the main team photo is on a piece of A2 paper (twice the size of A3) and even then I had to scale the image down to fit on the paper! Can’t wait to see the final results which will be printed by a professional printer – whilst my printer can do a first rate job, nothing compares to the output from one these large professional machines. Mind you if I move out all the gear out of my office, I might just be able to get one in here (and heat the whole house at the same time).
