A short blog tonight, not because I have little to say (and when has that stopped me in the past) but having spent 30 minutes working out what I was going to say and then typing away my browser session crashed and I lost all my words (shame, I hear you call).
Today’s title, is a musical allusion which actually has two references. The first is after a song by Frank Zappa (though this had a slightly different spelling). The second reference, and the one I took it from, was after an album by Pavement called Wowee Zowee.
The sun was certainly out in force today, and taking photos for the under 12’s football matches was like being in a different country, so warm was the sun on my back as I snapped away.
We then hotfooted it down the M4 motorway to Kew Gardens (London) and spent a very relaxing afternoon walking amongst the tree, shrubs and flowers. Today’s image was taken around 4pm today, when the sun was low enough to light this rather beautiful flower perfectly. Very pleased with this image, and have hight hopes for some more from today’s finding their way on to Flickr and I’m sure I can stretch it out enough this week so you’ll still be reading about it come Friday!
