Happy New Year

My last blog for 2010 and a final upload to flickr of a creature that continues to outwit me. With the numerous feeding stations in the garden now providing food for the wide variety of birds that come to the garden, my arch nemesis seems to still dominate the various food access points. I’m resigned to their infiltration of the avian vittles I provide, and as long as the plethora of squirrels that visit do not disturb the main visitors then I will continue to put up with them.

At this time of year, we all reflect on the previous year, but as you may have read in one of my previous posts I’ve already reviewed some of my accomplishments for the year. I am hoping to start a photo of the day routine for 2011, as well a blog of the day; it’s an ambitious goal and one that will be difficult to sustain – I’m pretty sure I can take a pretty good photo to upload each day, however putting some interesting words down every 24 hours will provide more of a challenge. Making it interesting will be a even more of a struggle.

If you’ve got this far and not lapsed into some torpid stupor then perhaps it may be not be an insurmountable task; and if you are still with me then I would like to wish you a Happy New Year, thanks for stopping by and hopefully I will provide more entertainment for you throughout 2011.
