Probably the best description I could have for my response to how active my flickr account has been today. I’m normally quite pleased with the 200-300 views per day I get on flickr. This number can rise to 400-500 when I upload large batches of photos and as has been mentioned here, when Dartmoor Zoo included a link to my photos my “high score” reached over 800. Now I don’t know if there’s something in the water but, at last check, I’ve had over 1200 views today.
The only problem with the bar being set so high is trying to beat it, though in some ways this is even more motivating to get out more with my camera, not that I really need it.
It’s been a busy week on the whole, and I’ve had little chance to get out since my trip out earlier in the week but the weather is holding up and the afternoon light is wonderful, so I have high hopes. The weather in the morning has been equally interesting, with low mist on the fields in the morning, which would produce some good silhouette photos with the local flora and fauna. Failing that, there are some cows on the way to work whom I’m sure will pose for a picture… as long as I don’t ask them to say cheese!
