Class 31

Class 31, originally uploaded by andyskelton.

Not one of my normal blog photos but it’s been a frustrating week in Norfolk so far. Despite what should have been good photography weather, the week so far has been rather inclement with a few hours per day being good enough for any photography.

As can be seen from the photostream on Flickr, one of my highlights so far has been photographing a large piece of metal on wheels – which most train enthusiasts would reeve their noses up at – a class 25 in 1980’s BR livery. Not one of my favourite diesel locomotives, I was elated that the loco (not the one pictured I hasten to add) actually pulled the train we were on at the North Norfolk Railway. If it were only a Deltic!
