I had planned, several days ago, to go out this afternoon on the hunt for Bee Orchids which will soon be past their best, if they are around at all. However waking up this morning it looked like my plans would be thwarted, rain having set in. Sure enough, the dark and swollen clouds persisted and arriving home I had little motivation to then set out on the hunt. Even the bees were conspicuous by their absence from the lavender which has provided so much inspiration of later.
It’s been 3 days now without picking up the camera, and I think I’m suffering from withdrawal symptoms. To make recompense for such a dismal situation, I decided to have a look through some of my older photos which currently only reside on my hard drive; seven, so far, have found their way on to my flickr account.
“C’mon Sun, do your worst”! (anyone get that quote?)
This is a great shot! I know what you mean about your camera – I can’t seem to go a day without shooting something.
